January Session Teams, Schedules and Rules

We’re excited to kick off our Indoor Session this week!

This is a fun, small-sided indoor series designed to keep players on the ball during the winter in a low-pressure, high-touch environment. Our priorities for the series are:

• Enjoyment of the game in a fast, 3v3 format

• Lots of touches, 1v1 situations, and quick decisions

• A positive, family-friendly atmosphere where players can be creative and try new things  

Results are secondary. The main goal is development, enjoyment, and staying connected to the game over the winter.

Format

• 3v3 futsal-style games

• No goalkeepers

• Teams will be coached/managed by a parent or adult team representative  

What Players Need

• Indoor shoes only – tennis shoes or indoor/futsal shoes

• No cleats of any kind allowed on the indoor surface

• Shin guards and socks (same as a normal soccer session)

• NFC training top or t-shirt (if they have one), or a comfortable athletic top

Game Location and Schedule Details

• Each team in the 2016–2017 and 2014–2015 groups plays two games per week, with one week off.

• 2011–2013 teams each play six games total, matched with unique opponents as much as possible.

• Games are held at: Futbol Factory 1409 Robinson Rd Old Hickory, TN 37138

• Please have your child there at least 20 minutes early to ensure quick transitions.
