Tryouts can feel like a big moment for players and families, but at Nashville Fútbol Club, our goal is simple: place each player in the right environment to grow.

We’re not just looking for the most athletic player or the biggest moment in a game. We’re looking for players who love the game, are coachable, and show a willingness to learn and improve over time.

At the younger ages, development starts with three core fundamentals: passing, receiving, and dribbling. These are the building blocks of everything we do. As players move into older age groups, those same skills remain central, while we add match fitness, faster decision-making, and more tactical responsibility.

Tryouts are designed to reflect real soccer. Players will be in organized, game-based sessions where they can show how they think, compete, and interact with teammates. We want the environment to be challenging, but also clear and encouraging so players can perform with confidence.

When it comes to team placement, we’re thinking long-term. It’s not just about where a player is today, but where they can grow best over time. Our goal is to create teams that balance ability, development, and confidence so every player has the opportunity to improve.
